Your data and deletion
Daily Path has no account. A random install ID, made on your phone, keeps your game together. You can delete your data at any time: in the app, or by email from any address.

We don’t collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts or photos. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.
How to delete your data
In the app
In the latest version of Daily Path, open Settings, then Delete my data. The app tells you what will be erased and asks you to confirm. When it’s done, your data is gone from our server and from the phone, and the app starts again as a new player.
If you have Plus, the app reminds you first that deleting your data does not cancel Plus: Apple bills it until you cancel it in iOS Settings (tap your name, then Subscriptions).
By email
If your version of the app doesn’t have Delete my data yet, or the app can’t finish it, email tech@pivotandanchor.com from any address. Tell us:
- the code from Settings, if the app shows one;
- otherwise, your nickname (if you set one) and roughly when you played.
Because there is no account, we may ask you to show that you have the phone. We’ll confirm when the deletion is done. If you made purchases, you can also ask us to delete your customer record at RevenueCat, the service that manages purchases for us.
Just deleting the app is not enough
Removing Daily Path from your iPhone removes most of what is on the phone, but not the install ID in the Keychain, and nothing on our server. Use Delete my data first.
What we keep, and why
Tax and accounting law requires us to keep records of sales. So after a deletion we keep the records of store purchases and refunds, the history of coins earned, spent and bought, the items purchases gave, and the status of a Plus subscription.
These records are pseudonymised: your install ID is removed from them and they are filed under a new random ID. We keep a one-way hash of your old install ID, and one of the phone’s key, next to that random ID, only so that your deletion stays in force if we ever restore a backup. Everything else listed under “On our server” is erased.
- Backups: nightly backups are kept for at most 14 days, so your data rolls off them within 14 days. If a backup is ever restored, the deletion is applied again before the server serves anyone.
- Server logs (which can include an install ID) expire on our host’s schedule.
